The Roosevelt is a very cosmopolitan watering spot that welcomes all for a drink! This bar is very LGBT friendly, as the LGBT crowd comes in for a drink on Tuesdays, and on Friday night the Drag Queens come to put on a performance. The first Tuesday of the month is Maria Keroke night, so you best bring your best voice, and belt out a song! The Roosevelt is located at the back of Hudson Food Hall which is at 228 Main Street Beacon, NY. The entrance on Main Street is Handicapped Accessible, as are the two bathrooms.

Great little bar right in the heart of Beacon. Perfect whether you’re solo or with friends. The food hall connection makes the food options a big win. Shoutout to Luke behind the bar. He was friendly, provided great service, and excellent music.

Luke was bar tender!!! We went on Sunday February 1st very friend played any music we wanted and we joked around a lot. Great guy. Thank you like made The afternoon fun.

We had the best time at the Roosevelt! They are super dog friendly and treated our pup like one of their own. In addition, Luke was an incredible bartender. He made an amazing old fashioned and a fantastic espresso martini! What more can you ask for! We will definitely be back and can’t wait to have Luke make us more drinks!

We had such a great time here. We ended up talking with the bar tender who used to be the mayor of Beacon. It was so nice to chat and have great drinks with him. Thursday “Oysters with Dad” was fantastic. Highly recommend this place!

Dad is Great. He knows so much about the oysters he serves and happy to share his knowledge. His minuet sauces are outstanding. If you love Oysters it is Must try if you are in Beacon on a Thursday evening.

High quality beautifully crafted cocktails! The bartenders are amazing and very friendly. The whole atmosphere and art on the wall is also really cool. I would definitely come back!! If I lived in the area I would definitely be a regular.

First time in Beacon and in desperate need of 1) a tasty beverage and 2) a chill spot (literally and figuratively) to watch the World Cup. Mission accomplished. We’d heard about The Roosevelt and made our way in. We were welcomed right away by Luke, who took care of us with some desperately needed waters and frosty beers. We had a lovely afternoon of footy and lively banter with Luke, who treated us and everyone else in the bar like best buds. We’d planned to leave at the half but the vibes were so strong (in spite of a boring game) that we decided to stay. Can’t recommend this place enough. We will be back.

Great cocktails and staff. They’re very LGBTQ+ friendly and feature some really fun nights like game nights, pickle back wednesdays, drag show Fridays and DJs on different weekends. This place is very lively and fun late night so definitely be sure to check them out.

Luke is the absolute best bartender. Came in on a Tuesday for a business meeting with food and drinks, no food vendor was open on Tuesday, but we stayed just for Luke's awesome customer service and conversation. 10/10 recommend.
